As the second quarter of 2021 has concluded, it's time to evaluate the performance of the top tabletop board games applications across the unified platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's data provides valuable insights into the trends of these beloved apps.
Starting with Chess - Play and Learn, we observed that downloads started at roughly 193K in the last week of March and gradually decreased to about 120K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar downtrend, from around 2.98M to approximately 2.51M in the same timeframe.
Moving on to 101 Okey Plus Rummy Board Game, the app began the quarter with around 150K downloads and saw a decrease to about 109K by June's end. Weekly active users peaked at nearly 2.35M in mid-May but ended the quarter with approximately 2.12M.
The app simply titled Chess, published by Chess Prince, had a starting download number of 137K in the last week of March, which decreased to about 76K by June's end. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 1.36M to a little over 1M in the same period.
Checkers Online started the quarter with about 119K downloads and ended with approximately 58K in the final week of June. The app's weekly active users saw a decline from 500K to roughly 345K over the course of the quarter.
Lastly, Ludo Club - Dice & Board Game kicked off with close to 76K downloads and experienced a slight dip to about 54K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started at around 706K and decreased to nearly 695K.
